I will keep looking for alternatives but at the moment the only contender I have in this category is the Gelert Twister 5. No problem; it's a great tent for car touring with the family. This tent has a maximum height of 1.88m and a ground area of over 11m2, making it spacious enough for most 2 + 2 families. You won't find an easier large tent to pitch, nor to pack away. If you read my review of Tent Suppliers: 2 Second Tents you'll know that I favour the Gelert range. The Gelert Quick Pitch DS4 gets my thumbs up in this category. It is the more robust tent and should see you through a number of seasons of light use. Take care packing the tent away and it could last for many years. Don't worry about taking it out it does look like being wet. There is a fly and an inner as on a conventional tent.
